Newer not always better

After having two hand me down washers, for the past 30 years.I thought I would finally get a new one. Wow what a mistake that was. After four years of misery ! This one is about to become a boat anchor ! The machine has a good look and the controls are easy but this machine just can't wash.we always get soap residue and white spots even after extra rinses.I want my old beat up washer back. Very dissatisfied and wish this could be handed back to Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like the Cabrio washer, I like how it cleans my clothes, I believe they are cleaner now then when I was using by old machine. It is very simple to use, and a lot more economical then the old one. I would reccommend this machine to anyone looking or a new one or replacing an old one they have.

Getting a new washer/dryer combo was a welcome addition to my home. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I especially like that it's eco-friendly, and that I no longer have that big agitator in the middle of the machine. Quality product!

Still doubtfull about this type of washer.

After purchasing this type of washer, I am still undecided about its ability to really get my clothes clean, especially the whites. I do not like the locking lid on it and feel that is a useless feature and just adds to the cost of the machine. I am still learning on how to use this machine so hope to improve on the ability of its use.. One of things that I don't like is that the clothes are all twisted together after being washed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can't believe we paid all this money and got this washer that is JUNK! Maybe I just got a bad washer but this is so frustrating. My clothes never come out clean. I have tried everything. I have to rinse them three or four times and they still come out with soap goop on them and I'm using liquid soap, not powered. I have tried using warmer water and less soap, nothing works. For some reason the clothes come out smelling really badly too. Worse than when I put them in. I just don't understand. I won't be buying Whirlpool again!

This unit really gets the clothes clean. The sounds that it make are different than the old style washer and it takes a little while to get use to. The locking lid can be a little aggrevating if you need to get into the unit quickly, but it is a safety feature that is for the consumer's good. I am enjoying my unit and I feel I made a great purchase.
