I was skeptical at first

After reading some of the reviews of this washer on the internet I was a bit skeptical about buying a washer that determines the correct water level for me. I've been doing laundry for 40 years and it's hard to get used to something new and give up control of how much water I think my load needs. But after shopping around and finding that nearly all the new washer models have automatic water level sensing, I went ahead and bought this one because my daughter-in-law has it and is pleased with hers. I'm now a convert. My clothes seem to come out cleaner. There is never a problem with residual soap on them. The spin cycle spins out so much water that drying time is quicker (though a very few things do come out more wrinkled unless I make an effort to smooth them out before putting them in the dryer) . I really like having no agitator in the center as clothing no longer gets wrapped up around it. All the new features that I was leery of turned out to be great new features. I'm very happy with this washer.

The new design of these clothes washers require a new way of thinking. It is something different -- but I like it. I have only had this washer setup for two weeks -- but I really like its performance. I hope it last as long as my other Whirlpool -- with all the computer chips running this washer you know it will be expensive to fix! But so far -- I really like the performance and results of the clothes I have washed so far.

16 months old but used maybe 8 months. Washer would not spin and I had to use the drain and spin function after each wash. $129 service call and was told the control board needs to be replaced for another $318. Would not recommend this product or any other product from this company.

This product is very finicky and only works sometimes.

After a first year of good service, we find that the machine sometimes runs the whole cycle with no water, or fails to spin the clothes adequately, so they come out soaking. I have learned several work arounds to get results, but if it absolutely stopped working tomorrow, I would not buy this brand. Worst washer we've owned in 25 years of marriage.

The energy efficient design of the washer is superb! It senses the load automatically, and determines the quantity of water. No longer do I have to guess if it is a medium or large load! The container forthe HE Detergent is already filled with water, thereby diluting thedetergent to the correct level. The low agitator is a design marvel,as delicates no longer get caught. I asked for an energy efficientwasher to save electricity and water. I also have the companiondryer, so that wash days are easier than ever with this pair.

Washer doesn't seem to clean as well as my old Kenmore. No matter what setting the clothes come out very wrinkled... even on delicate with fabric softener. Otherwise nice product.

Had to have I service 1 month outside of warranty. Te belt had come of and the tech, a friend for Church, said the fix was putting lock tight on the fasteners that needed it. Why can't they just do that at the factory?!?
