There are many reasons I am not happy with this washer:The most frustrating thing is that I can't just run a rinse cycle.Inevitably when I do a load of darks, no matter what detergent I use, there is a white residue left in some of the clothes, and i can't rerun them through the rinse cycle. (I am still trying to find a detergent that doesn't leave this residue)The clothes get really tangled up in some of the cycles.The locking feature is a nuisance when I need to add something to the load.It runs quite loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BIG MISTAKE

Been married for 35 years, so I've had multiple washing machines. This one doesnt even clean dirt off clothes. If there is a spot going in, it comes out with same spot unless I pre-spray it AND scrub it. And as a previous reviewer said, I picked this one because I didnt want an agitator, but with this washer, my clothes not only come out still with spots, but they come out ALL crinkled up, which does NOT come out in the matching dryer, hence EVERYTHING MUST BE IRONED. So wrinkled and NOT CLEANED. Also, if you are under 5'6" tall, DO NOT BUY THIS- you will not be tall enough to reach in and take out your clothes. I am 5'6" tall, and I have to stand on tip toes to reach in and get everything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to wash my clothes. Clean. Energy Efficient. I'm not picky.It is quite loud when I first got it. I either got used to the noise or it got quieter. Not sure which one.

Best washer we have ever had

We bought this in October 2013 and it has performed in the manner that it was advertised. It has all the bells and whistles that one needs to perform all of the washing cycles that one may need. The water saver feature seems to be working well and we have had no problems with any soap or fabric softener being left on our laundry.We are extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality washer.

I first used the Whirlpool Cabrio washer at my sister-in-law's, and I loved it so much I knew it would be the next machine I would purchase when the time came. The time came, and I purchased the Cabrio 3.6 cu ft washer. I absolutely love the fact that the machine determines how much water is needed to do each load and is so inexpensive to operate. I have a well and am very conscious of the water consumption in my home so this is perfect, not to mention that my clothes are getting a much gentler wash and will last longer. I won't hesitate to recommend this product to my family and friends!

First, let me say that I am very careful when I load the washer and place the clothes very evenly. When I do heavier loads, such as bath towels and jeans, many times I have to pause the washer and rearrange the load during the spin cycle because the load gets off balance and it is extremely loud and vibrates big time. Also, there is a lot of condensation that forms on the control panel and I have to dry this off with every load that I wash. I also purchased this very same model for my son and the bearings went out after only 10 months and he is single and does limited loads. Luckily, it was still under warranty. I have always been a big Whirlpool fan and have owned Whirlpool appliances for many years. However, I cannot recommend this Whirlpool washer.
