Excellent modern design

We find we keep older models because they continue to work for decades. When we finally bought a new set we were very pleased with the design and efficiency improvements. We bought washer with matching dryer. Both are tremendous improvements over older design and capabilities. We should have upgraded years ago.

My husband and I just love our new Whirlpool washer and dryer. Their modern design is so attractive, and the controls are so easy to use. My husband actually has helped by washing a few loads of cloths himself.The washer only uses about 1/3 of the water that my old Washer did, and our water bill is much lower because of it. I never though that our cloths could be as clean with less water, but they Are actually cleaner. The new 6th sense technology really makes this washer and dryer second to none.

Less than 2 years and what a joke

2nd time in less than 2 years that the cabrio has failed. Machine will not spin at the end of the wash cycl and leaves the clothes soaking wet. First time took it apart and think the lid lock was the problem. Who knows this time. This isn't even the worst problem. Everything (clothes, towels, dishrags) smell like musty mold. Seems like a common problem. Do yourself a favor and read the real reviews outside of the whirpool website. Whirlpool- what can you do about these problems? This is ridiculous. Will be replacing with something other than a whirlpool.

Not worth it

This machine replaced a front loader that lasted 14 months. Yes. Months. This one only lasted 4 years and done. Main bearing is out. And now we're being offered 30% off. Off of what has yet to be determined. Is it time to move to another brand after filling the house with Whirlpool for 20+ years? That has yet to be determined.

Saves water and energy

I was skeptical at first after reading some negative reviews. I bought the brand as I have not had any problems with Whirpool products in the past. This washer uses less water, soap, and electricity, and my clothes come out cleaner than ever. The clothes come out so dry, they need very little time in the dryer. I would recommend this washer to anyone.

Sometimes laundry isn't clean.

We previously owned a pair of front loaders and loved the wash quality and energy savings. We decided to try this top loading Eco friendly washer. We noticed that sometimes the clothes didn't come out clean, especially the items that were towards the top of the load. With our front loaders, since the drum lays on its side, the clothes stay saturated with soap and water, unlike this top loader. We just have to cut our loads down a little and always use the bulky items cycle and clothes come out clean.

Very easy to use !

I received the pair as a Mother's Day gift. It is exactly the right fit for our new first floor bathroom and laundry room addition. Doing laundry is not a chore anymore ! It is actually enjoyable !
