Its large capacity is great for towels, blankets and more and it?s easy to operate. Everything comes out clean

The washer is excellent on water usage and it does a better job cleaning clothes than my old washer did. My clothes come out smelling fresh and very clean. I am amazed at how great a job it does with so little water. I can't really say I hear anything loud noises as it works as I don't hover over the washer waiting for my clothes to get done. I will say my water bill has dropped compared to what I used to pay and I am loving that as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You have to use the bulky wash cycle to get clothes clean which takes longer and still doesn't get clothes as clean as my old washer with the center agitator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Pleasant Surprise!

I put off purchasing a new washer for months after reading mixed consumer reviews on the new, high efficiency machines. Now that I've owned my Cabrio top-loader for four months, I wish I hadn't waited so long. I couldn't be happier with my new washer! As for the negative reviews, I can only guess that the unhappy owners failed to read the manual. This is NOT your mother's washing machine and cannot be treated as such. But if the directions are followed, the Cabrio does an outstanding job of cleaning. I've had no problems with excessive wrinkling or tangling; and this machine is certainly gentler on my clothes than my old agitator washer. Yes, the unusual sounds the machine makes take some getting used to. But the noise level is not excessive. My laundry room is next to both my kitchen and my living room and I don't find the noise distracting. I'm pleased with the washer's capacity. There seems to be a cycle for every need. There's no annoying buzz at the end of the wash cycle. Instead, the Cabrio plays a little tune. It even looks attractive. Bottom line, I recommend the Cabrio Top-Loading High Efficiency Washer without hestation.

I love the way the washer is so efficient. The ease of use is wonderful. The dryer's efficiency is impressive as well. I would reccommend this set.

Energy efficient and clothes are cleaner

Our new Carbrio Top Loader Washer replaced a 25 year old Whirlpool Top Loader that gave excellent service to our family for all those years. The new washer is different in that there is no large agitator in the middle of the drum and it uses less water. I especially like changing the water temp to "tap cold" water for extra energy efficiency. Despite using "tap cold" water and less water, my laundry comes out cleaner than before. Energy efficiency and cleaner clothes - Hooray!!!

When my husband found out that our current washer was using 45 gallons of water per normal load & that the Cabrio used only 14 gallons - he was at our local Whirlpool Dealer to make the purchase. We just got our first utility bill & it's the lowest it's ever been. It was very helpful that our dealer explained how to load the laundry properly & the different washing cycles. The only negative is sometimes the spinning noise. But since the clothes takes less time in the dryer it's a small complaint. Very happy with this purchase!
