Can't begin to say how much I despise this machine!!! Looks great but has nothing else going for it. My towels & washcloths are stained even after soaking overnight with hot water in bleach or Oxy Clean. Have to put in very small loads, not easy for a very active family of four, as the clothes come out still smelling sweaty & dirty. I NEVER get the clean laundry scent we loved. Even small loads just smell wet. Had a 15 yr. old Kenmore that kept my towels & washcloths snow white and the rest of our clothes looking fantastic. How I wish I had it back!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Cabrio top load washer is everything I hoped it would be and more! My favorite feature is the time remaining window. This takes the quesing out of how long a cycle will last! Good job Whirlpool! Raanne

I have been extremely pleased with my washing machine. It has made doing laundry a lot easier. The different cycle features is really nice, with many options other than "delicate or normal". This product has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this to everyone.

Over all I think this washing machine is ok. It is easy to use and clothes are cleaned well. I am disappointed that the clothes are not drier (less wet) when they are done. I thought the spin cycle on the newer models would extract more. The second area of disappointment is the sound. This is louder than my 2000 GE Profile. The noise level was why I purchased a new machine! I actually have to close the door to my laundry room when I put clothes in it before going to bed at night.

Overall a good machine

To be completely honest, a lot of the reviews I have seen sound like people that do not follow the instructions. If you follow the instructions the machine works pretty well - though some of the eco-boast settings tend to leave soap residue on clothes.Outside of that - the machine gets clothes clean and has plenty of settings to allow for flexible use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

At first I was overwhelmed with the machine. It took me a couple of weeks to actually begin to love this machine. I kept the instruction sheet near the machine so if I had problems I could easily read what I should do next. I have to admit that this is one of the better machines I've ever used. The machine can be used any time during the day, it is so efficient that it does not use much water to clean the clothes, and it is amazing how a machine can determine just how much water will be necessary to deliver a perfectly cleaned load of clothing.I also have to say that this is the quietest washing machine I've ever used.
