I really don't know what everyone is talking about with these bad reviews. The only thing I can relate is the fact that the noise during the spin cycle is a little loud, but no different than any other traditional washer that we've been used to for years. My clothes come out bright and brilliant. After purchasing this washer, the difference in cleanliness and color were amazing. The washer has an rpm adjustment so your clothes aren't as wrinkled. Personally, I have always had to shake my clothes out after removing from the washer to the dryer. Sometimes they do get tangled but nothing like the traditional washers with the agitators. The only downfall is the fact that sometimes, personally, I would leave my clothes to soak overnight and that's not something we can do with this washer. The other thing is the locking lid, perhaps just something we need to get used to. I love it, so far, so good!

I wouldn't have bought this if I'd had the chance to use one

It's been a couple months now and I have to say if I'd had a chance to use one before buying, I probably would not have purchased this. It's very noisy. In fact, I had a repairman come out because I thought something was wrong and he checked it and said nothing was wrong, those were the sounds it makes. The spin cycle: granted it supposed to spin more of the water out of the clothes so they aren't as wet going to the dryer; however, the spin cycle is so strong it shakes things off the table top next to the washer and it spins some of my clothes out of shape. I washed a hand knit sweater that I'd washed in my old machine and it stretched it so far out of shape that even throwing it in the dryer didn't help. So now I'm being more "Picky" about what I put in the washer, which doesn't save me any time as more is getting washed by hand. I've also found it complicated to get the water levels I want and the water temps I want for certain washes. Personally, I would not recommend it to my friends without letting them do a couple loads in mine to see if they like it before spending the money.

This is the second version of this washer we have had and I hopes it is more reliable than the first which died after 18 months!

New style washing machine works well!

This is my first new style washing machine. I am now used to putting in the clothes and the detergent, starting the machine and leaving it alone till is is finished. I always used to like to be able to lift the lid and watch the work getting done--now I go do something else. The clothes get clean all by themselves, and the spin cycle at the end leaves them very wrung out. I also like that I can put bulky items in the tub. I washed pillows and could choose an extra rinse. The tub never gets unbalanced. It is a great washing machine.

The water level is so low on some cycles that clothes and especially sheets do not get completely washed. When the cycles are complete and the wash is ready for the dryer, you can see dry spots on the washed items. I always have to wash on the heavy duty cylce to get enough water to cover the items in the washer.

Ok washer

I bought this product because I wanted a high efficiency washer to replace my old one. I follow the directions on loading, adding soap etc. This washer is picky. If you don't load it right, put too much soap in, or overload it it will stop mid-cycle(wash cycle). Also, it may save water but has got to use more electricity because most cycles are 45 minutes long or longer. The spin cycle does a very nice job at getting most of the water out of your clothes. They come out of the washer damp not wet. This washer is OK in my opinion. It washes clothes but you have to babysit it. Should it decide it doesn't like the load you put in you will then need to make adjustments.
