The wonder of Whirlpool

These two products are phenomenal. The washer has never gone off balance no matter what the load and is very efficient., The water bill has gone down considerably. The dryer does more than an adequate job. One other wonderful thing; the washer and dryer are made in the U.S.A.

Excellent performance and a great value

I've saved so much in energy and water costs. Also, my childrens' clothes come out so much cleaner with less wear from being washed.

Clean but noisy...

In buying this product the salesperson told me that it had a "different sound" to it. Had I understood that meant a very loud, grinding and distracting sound, I likely would not have purchased it. Truely, we can't run it in the evening if we'd like to go to bed--it's far too noisy. Both the machine mechanisims and the signal on soft are very loud. We have it in our winter home, and were heading back North or I likely would have returned it. It does a good job on cleaning our clothes, although the high spin setting wrinkles things badly. The need to turn the power off in order to unlock the lid to add clothes is a pain though. It looks good, has great features (except for the lid lock) and does a fine job on cleaning our laundry. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

Spent a great deal of effort trying to find the best value in terms of price and performance. Once the units were installed and I figured out all the controls and features, I was very impressed not only with the mechanical and washing function but in the way that it was environmentally good. It uses less detergent, less water and with the impressive benefit, the clothes were clean. In fact my water and electricity bills showed a reduction in the cost of doing the laundry.

I have had this product for approx. 2 months now and I have been very pleased with the way it performs. The clothes come out clean and I really like the fact that I don't have to decide what water level to use. The features on the machine are very easy to use. My only complaint about the machine is that it is a little louder than what I would like. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

Smart features and performance

This washer is very high tech and has solid design for the price. It doesn't use too much water and you have many combinations of choices for wash settings. You must read the manual, however to get the full benefit of all features.
