This washer is very easy to use. It has a nice design, looks great, digital design and knob are both very user friendly. Overall I'm very pleased with the washer. The reasons I'm giving for Good vs. Excellent are sound and spin cycle. The washer makes a bit more noise than I anticipated. Also, there have been a couple of occasions where I've had to run the spin cycle a second time because the clothes were still very wet/dripping. This has happened maybe 2-3 times out of 30 loads. I would still recommend this washer.

Washer does a good job cleaning the close, the only real draw back is the noise level.

Nice product overall. You must read and follow the directions for high efficiency type machines. If you try to use the way you used your old washer you are going to be disappointed.BUT if you read and do what they say it will work just fine. Some of it is counter intuitive...meaning it may not seem to make sense based on your experience. We have found that because there is no large central impeller occupying the tub there is much more room in this tub than our old washer. Our guess was correct and we really don't feel we needed the larger 4.++ cu ft. tub. That makes this washer a bargain since we did not see many reasons to buy the next step up other than the bigger tub.The time estimates the machine gives you for the load are usually way too long and actual wash times are much shorter....not really that much longer than our old washer's cycles...thank goodness. Also, we wish the machine had a see through lid so we could see what is going on inside the machine.. You can't open the lid to peek inside and all of the new strange sounds and noises of this machine makes us very curious to see what it is doing inside. But we don';t think the see through lid is worth another $200+.So far every load has come out perfect...without peeking to see what the heck is going on inside. Not as quite as we had hoped but no noisier than our old top loader.Overall good value for the money. Time will tell if we are really saving water and energy but it does seem to use less water based how much water we hear running into the tub. If you do buy this machine, don't be foolish and not read the instructions and do what they say. Doctors orders.

Not a single problem so far. Really like it. It does do a lot of clicking and diagnosing the load before getting with the job at hand. This washer is very sophisticated, and for that reason we went ahead and bought the extended warantee for peace of mind.

Uses little water, quick cycles, must be level or walks, clothes have to be evenly placed around tub can go off cycle, which goes out of balance and resets time left

Best Washing Machine ever!

Because of less wash, we gave our 2 year old Whirlpool Duet to our daughter and purchased the top load Cabrio. This machine is as good, if not better than our Duet. The washer runs quiet and we believe our clothing appears, hard to believe - as clean, if not cleaner than before. Bottom line - this is the best top load washing machine Whirlpool has ever built.

I like that the settings are all changeable, I can choose which temperature I want to wash my clothes, rather than a pre-set temperature.

The connections and screws could be better in the rear. Lost a screw when disassembling the connection to reconnect and it fell into the unit. No way to retrieve it except for a maintenance call.
