We have been nothing but pleased with our washer since day 1

I have loved my top load whirlpool since day one! It fits a large load of towels or blankets. I work from home, & it runs silently enough to not interrupt at any point in a wash cycle! I would select this model all over again :)

Washer is AWFUL!

So this washer is awful. I really liked the fact that it had no agitator but whenever I have a few towels or pairs of jeans the washer won't spin right. It keeps running through the sensing process and finally gives up, leaving the clothes drenched. You can even squeeze a stream of water out of the clothes. Then the Cabrio dryer we bought with the washer won't dry the clothes if they are that wet. I miss my old washer!

Great machine once you figure out the settings for clothing

It took me a while to figure out the settings for my clothing to come clean and not wrinkle so much but now, I have found it works great. I do not like the slanted top, which I did not notice when I purchased the machine. You cannot fold laundry on the top or set anything on it which is very inconvenient for us. I would have chosen the front loading model and built a working top.

I do love this washer and find the features make it very easy to do laundry. This was a big upgrade for me from a basic washer however, I think I am right to be impressed. It is noisy but I believe that is just part of how it needs to be to function efficiently. If I remember to push the laundry soap tray all the way in so it clicks, I do not find it in the tub after the load is complete (my issue). The lid is curved so nothing can be placed on top of it that will not land on the floor once it initiates the cycles (my learning curve)I put in the clothes and the soap, push the correct buttons (and am sure the soap dispenser in all the way in) and my wash gets done. I am pleased with the effectiveness of the machine since my clothes come out clean as expected.I expect that I am saving energy with this machine - no way to objectively determine this.

When we purchased this machine, we weren't sure how it was going to go since the middle sensor can't be covered when loading clothes....but much to our surprise, it has not been a problem at all. This machine has been nothing but fantastic for the price we paid!
