Not long lasting

We were so excited and confident to purchase this Whirlpool Washer. However, after following manufactures recomendations i.e. load size, HE soap, we are currently expericencing problems with our washer only one year after purchase. We will utilizing service repair but wish we never purchased a washer that requires high dollar maintenance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This washer has great features

Large capacity. Can wash comforters and other large items with ease. Have had some issues with washer freezing on different cycles and will have to unplug to reset washer. Easy to clean with affresh.

The washer does a great job as long as you don't fill it to the halfway point. If you put in more than 6 pairs of jeans for teenage boys it doesn't wash everything fully.

My old Whirlpool washer was 18 years old and worked great allthat time This new "Cabrio" gets my clothes all twisted andwrinkled requiring me to iron almost everything. I'm sorry Ibought this "new" style rather than one with an agitator like myold one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features

I have had this washer for a little over two years. I love the way it loads and uses little water. It has plenty of settings for your most delecate of clothing to you large blankets and comforters. The one hing that disappoints me about the washer is that you have to make sure to keep it clean or it will cause problems. Over all I am very pleased with it. I have the matching dryer and it is amazing.
