Excellent HDTV

I bought this T.V. from Best Buy on May 23, 2009 and I love it. The Blacks are real dark, the colors are amazing. Sports look like you are there. The image looks like you are looking out a window. All HD sources and gaming is incredible. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the design and black glossy look are out of this world. Go Samsung!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clouding

The first 850 I received had a very grainy picture with clouds in the corners. Samsung relaced the panel (replacements are refurbished parts) and the new panel is worse. There is severe clouding over the entire screen. Maybe it is bad luck, but this is the the third exchange I have had to due for various issues. I would not recommend buying this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung's 850 Series has the Touch of Color design with a slim depth and narrow bezel . Very Great !!
DLNA supports a very limited set of formats and codec's and Subtitle support only english.

OUTSTANDING HDTV

This is my first large screen LCD and it is almost like watching REAL TV for the very first time. I grew up watching black and white TV and when my parents purchased our first color TV, the difference was like night and day. It's kind of the same feeling I got watching 1080i/p for the first time, on my new Samsung,.....totally awestruck! The resolution and color is extraordinary and I have found the menu very intuitive. Some of the HD television programs are simply exquisite. I could go on and on but do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself. By the way, I replaced a 36" CRT TV and I'm glad I finally made the plunge.

i have waited a few months to write a review. my son helped me set it up and stayed to watch it (he says it looks like your watching the actors in the same room) he was mad he just bought a visio. i still don't get to watch it much, my wife runs me off to watch her progams, so i'm back in the bedroom watching the old tv. i'll haft to wait a year or so to buy another SAMSUNG. GREAT TV
