Great TV!

This TV has an awesome picture without the high cost of other name brands. Would definately buy another Phillips brand TV. Great price for extended warranty and customer service is excellent.

Fantastic Picture

Owned since Sept. 2010, I can’t say enough good things about this LED/LCD. Cool operating, great color and contrast, no bleed in a dark room, low glare, and unusually clear sound. I will look soon to purchase a slightly smaller one for the bedroom.
Pros: brightness

Well worth the price

After quite a bit of research came across this television and decided to try it, especially since it was seriously discounted at the time and comparable TVs from other vendors went for far more than this one. When it finally arrived, unpacking and installing took just 10 minutes. Initial impression was great - slim and elegant look, easy assembly (I used the swivel stand that came with the set,) pretty lightweight for the size.
It only went better when I turned it on. After short and clean guided picture preferences setup we switched to some FiOS HD channel and this is when the TV really shined: crisp and bright picture, excellent details. The only thing I had to turn off after a while was Natural Motion thing - we all felt like it was a little lagging sometimes, as if a quite few frames were buffered and then displayed in very rapid succession, so that the movement becomes jerky. There definitely is a lag when playing videogames, even Philips support recommends turning the feature off when playing.
The TV can also play AVI (DivX) and MPEG2 media files from FAT-formatted USB sticks - we tried that and were very satisfied with the output. The only problem here is that initial loading takes very long time, over 20 seconds. But this actually may be the problem with particular USB thumbdrive I used.
To sum up, excellent television that delivers very high picture quality, especially from HD sources.

Pros: excellent picture quality, very good sound, looks great, plays DivX from USB, lots of connection options, easy firmware upgrades. Power consumption is very reasonable, too.
Cons: Natural Motion seems pretty useless, USB media load times too long.

i would say all and all its a tv but that's it it turns off on its own in the middle of using it the sound goes in and out and in just sick of it i only had it a few months and its time for a new one so im back in the market now

2.5 years and tv does not work

Got this tv as a Christmas present 2010, had to buy sound bar because the sound is so bad now after just 2 1/2 years the tv doesn't work! Very disappointed.
Cons: sound

Nice color with style

I like this TV. This is my first large lcd TV. The color is pretty good on TV. Sometimes I connected with PC for watching video, those movies are also great.

Love my TV

I love this TV. It is all I wanted in a flat screen other than wifi. I would love to have the ability to get netflix without another device, but all in all I am happy with my TV
Pros: color, size, can see from side angle, clarity, allows updates
Cons: no wifi
