Great SOUND

We got the product refurbished and have nothing but good things to say about it. It has a crisp picture as well as TERRIFIC sound for TV speakers. Would recommend this to anyone.

Great product. Pricing makes this tv an exceptional value.
Pros: very stable base platform.
Cons: slightly slower to warm up than competitors.

The Perfect Size

I have an existing cabinet that could only fit a 37" LCD until I found this 40" model from Philips. The design of this LCD maximixes the largest screen with the minimum "footprint". The difference between a 37" screen and 40" screen is significant, especially when it has the excellent picture quality of this LCD

9 months of looking convince me I made an excellent buy I compared it to LG, Sony, Sharp, and others for dollar I got the biggest bang for the buck. 40 in LED with as many options as some priced at 300 to 500 more for same size Makes it 1 of the best buys on th emarket today I paid $499 + tax for mine and I cannot wait to buy another one same size and model. Thoses reading this cannot go wrong with Philips since they have the best customer serivce /support also they have 1 of the lowest return rates in the nation
Pros: easy setup, excellent customer support, great picuter clarity, true 1080 dpi
Cons: none so far

Great picture and sound

I bought the 40" LED LCD 120Hz TV and I love it! Great picture and the 4 built in speakers with SRS surround... WOW!
Pros: 120hz, srs trusurround, price
Cons: ummmm, i'll get back to you on that

Seems to be a Good TV

For my first Phillips TV, it seems to be doing fine. Bought in June of 2011, the installation/set up was easy. The picture is bright and crisp. The audio and features are above average.
Cons: would like a clock"bug" to appear on the screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!
