I bought this fridge to replace a stainless steel model I inherited with my 1922 bungalow. I have gotten many compliments on it, and it is more spacious than I had imagined . The storage on the door is very deep and holds much more than any previous fridge I have owned. Only 3 negatives: the door handles CAN be switched to the opposite side, but the screws will now be on the top of the handles and will show. There needs to be a bottom plate to cover the space beneath the front surface - looks unfinished. There does not seem to be any way to level it, and our floors are slightly slanted, therefore the fridg looks slightly slanted.
Love the stylish look and the excellent quality of this fridge. There is ample room for all my goodies. And the price is right! When you want something cool, but don't need all the bells and whistles, this fridge is the clear winner.
The fridge is much quieter and the compressor runs much less than its predecessor, a late 1980s vintage. It looks great in the kitchen. Only issue is that the shelve spacing is shorter than a side-by-side, so it's tough to get wine bottles & tall products into the fridge. Overall, a great product!
I have no problem and think the frig is extremely attractive. However, I purchased GE Adora in my last house, which was bigger and had more features. Also cost more. The Artistry only comes in one size and with a smaller kitchen I thought it would be okay. I did not realize I liked the bigger size with Adora and it had more features. The Artistry is beautiful and no problems, just could use an option for a bigger size and more gizmos. Thanks
I bought this about two months ago and am regretting my purchase. The freezer needs to be turned up to the coldest in order to keep ice cream hard and I really miss the drawers for cheese etc.
