The ice maker installation process was a nightmare; terrible technicians. When the top unit is pushed closed the freezer opens. The freezer has to be set against 9 so that ice cream doesn'the melt.
Appliance put in place, leveled, and plugged in - condensation appeared in 24 hours. Never stopped. Had to call in for a repair call. I hope it's a minor fix
We purchased this product 2 days ago. It's heavy I would suggest when unloading it to take off the front door panels and the inside shelves to lighten up the load when moving it. This product interested us with the vintage look and high gloss door panels.
We have had this Refrigerator for a few weeks and love it! It has one major flaw with the doors. As other reviews stated the doors when reversed do not line up well and leak air. There is no way to adjust. So we are just going to live with it as delivered.
My only concern was the freezer door usually pops open a little when the upper door is closed. The manual says this is OK and the food in the freezer continues to be frozen. We have a built-in place for the refrig and we had a terrible time finding one big enough. This refrig. is perfect! It's designed well and I don't feel we've lost much storage.
I bought this fridge for our historic home, the design and size made installation a breeze. It just rolled into place. Now after a year of use I can also say it has preformed to every expectation.
I am so excited about my new Artistry Refrigerator. It is everything I wanted and more. Love the freezer on the bottom and the spacious refrigerator on top. The look is so vintage and fits perfectly in my kitchen. I can't wait to get the stove and dishwasher to match. Saving for those two purchases next. Thank you GE.
