The HP Stream was a great price and is a nice balance of the "old" icon interface and the "new" app-like interface. There are a lot of adjustments (the new Windows interface, saving almost all files to Onedrive rather than a hard drive, and the new Microsoft Office, but I feel like the Stream allows you to pick and choose which things you're ready to learn. I'm slow to change but really like that I can still use the old interface and, when I'm feeling adventurous, play around with the new one. My only real issues with this laptop has been the keypad's sensitivity, but that's probably on my end to look up and adjust and that the max volume is not actually that loud-- I watch most of my online shows at 100% of the volume in order to hear them above the noise of a pretty quiet home. Overall, I'm very happy with the choice, price, and features.

Lightweight in many ways....

It performed well for the first 90 days, but now the screen no longer works. Need to contact HP for warranty service on that....
This was a gift and the recipient really did enjoy the notebook and its performance. She also enjoyed the color (pink).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
