Great All rounder.

I highly recommend this printer , it is great value for money, does exactly what it is advertised as doing.
Had no problems in setting it up.
Only downside I can find is when printing in colour fromPhotoshop elements 10 you need to use best setting to avoid horizontal lines on final print.. Apart from this small point ...Perfect!!

problem printer

very frustrating as the printer I have is very temperamental. It is always on pause so you have to click on resume constantly, and will not print a 2 page document. It will only print the first page, and goes on error for the second page. In fact I'm thinking of taking it back to the shop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waste of Time

I bought the 7000 wide printer as I had had a HP model before. The previous one was a great printer but old. The new one has been nothing but trouble. The printer seems to use coloured inks to print black and white drafts. It also clips borders off A3 prints without being able to print 'borderless' I have queried these things with HP and they give excuses like its the programme I am using (I just wonder why on my previous printer it was ok?) So I am fed up with this lump of plastic. One of the colour cartridges supplied with the printer ran out after 50 prints! I have contacted HP and have consequently removed the printer software from my pc and re-installed it. It still doesnt work properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great printer, very easy to set up and even easier to use.
You can control it from the pc or from the front panel of the printer.
imac; iphones and ipads pick up the wireless connection very easily making the process mind blowingly simple.
Camera photos can be printed directly by inserting the memory card into the printer, Scans can be sent via the printer panel directly into an email ready to send from your computer.
It has features that I didn't even realise I needed until I used them. I now have two; an A3 and an A4.
Very straight forward for a beginner to use as front panel 'shows' you what to do.
You can control it from the pc or from the front panel of the printer.

Great bit of Kit

At less than the cost of replacing the laser ink cartridges of our office multi function this machine is more intuitive, easier to use, better looking and so far runs on air as the ink seems to last forever. I know it wont but after having machines that gobble ink for the fun of it this machine is a revelation. Well done HP
