Not what I expected from HP

Bought this printer for a specific task (to print documents in custom format) finally managed to get it to work after days of trying to describe the paper layout to the printer.
After several conversations on the user forum and 3 visits to the supplier have managed to get the page size working.
Have also tried printing 'A3' photo this comes out very streaky so end result is in the shredder.
Have not tried to print smaller photographs so can't comment.
Would have taken it back to the store and asked for a refund but with all the trying to get it to work the 14 days to change your mind period has elapsed so i'm stuck with it.

This is a really good printer. The main problems came in setting it up for wifi. Thereis a TOTAL lack of necessary manuals which is not good!!!

This all-in-one printer is very good and versatile.
One issue i have had is that it gets confused by having more than one PC on the wireless network. It seems to lose the connection to one or the other. Easily re-connected but a bore.
Otherwise great. very happy

not being a techno wizard.this turned out to be the simplest gadget to set up i've ever purchased, even without a handbook in english.
To use the printer for the first time was just as easy and the results superb.

This printer was bought to replace a very expensive laser printer...so far it is performing equally well, helped by the fact my printing is at much smaller numbers.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend as it was very easy to set up & is totally wireless!

Worst purchase I have Made

I have always purchased HP previously and my experience has been good. The experience with the printer(HP7500A) I have now got has been nothing but bad and totally unacceptable. I realise one can get problems with new equipment but the after sales service has been diabolical to say the least. At one stage issues and attitudes were getting so bad that I asked for a refund which was totally rejected. Ultimately I have received 2 new printers plus the original. The last has proven to be ok at the moment.

Product required 2nd replacement in 15 months despite light office use. First replacement is under a year old but out of warranty period from the original model purchase date. Error code & hp diagnostics insist a service is required but HP do not service or repair products. I now have a 3rd set of re-networking cost to bear along with the cost of a 3rd printer without any assistance from hp.
