Sleek design and great picture

This device is packed with features. It has a very appealing sleek design and the image quality is also great. It is about 10x faster to load discs than my previous player. It integrates wonderfully with my Samsung TV via HDMI/Anynet. 3D playback is smooth and beautiful.
The DLNA connection to my PC is not so great. The speed is slow. But in my experience this is an issue in general with DLNA when you have a large library -- so I can't complain about the device itself. The Wifi and internet connectivity is great (Netflix, other apps, etc.)
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing picture quality

Boot up time is instant, pop in a dvd or Blu-ray and it's already playing. Super fast start up, excellent 1080p picture and great menu options. Best player i've owned and i've owned way too many! Small size machine, great touch sensitive buttons and awesome lights on it.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I Just had received my samsung blu-ray player {sat.1.8 .2011}. I own a 60" flat screen, in which I ,out of the box hooked it to my tv & my surround sound with no problem. I am very pleased with the performance an ease of use especially with the many standard dvd's I have at this time. What else can I say it's great the digital quality & picture is the best. soon to get the 3D kit next. I like the sleek look as well as the blue color's of my player also. THUMB'S UP FROM ME!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, touch of ease on the top, no problem playing rec.dvds, easily plays reg. dvd's, much like plug n play

Awesome Player

I bought this player to replace my first generation Sony player. Being able to now connect with the internet, as well as have access to music and pictures from my media system was a really nice plus. I have not utilized the 3D features yet, but plan on upgrading my 42" LCD with a 3D capable TV shortly. The wireless set-up was easy and streaming music and video from Cinema Now and Netflix were a welcome feature that was long overdue. Well worth the money, wait for a sale if you can.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, lots of nice internet features., easy set-up
Cons: need more free apps., needs more memory., needs virtual keyboard .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wow what a beautiful picture! 3D Blu-ray is a pretty neat feature also, kids love it. Easy to connect and link up with tv.
