I have really enjoyed my blu ray dvd player. I am not a tech person, so I have loved it being so easy to use.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Poor Sound Reproduction from DVD

Received this unit with the purchase of my TV. Since the first day found the playback of DVD's (including Blu-ray) the sound has been very poor. Sound from the internet apps such as NetFlix have been the same as broadcast input from my cable box, but have to put the volume up to 100% just to hear dialog from the DVD. As the same cable (HDMI) is used for the Internet apps and the DVD this would rule out any problem with the cable. I have upgraded the firmware of the player which was suppose to fix this problem, but did not. Still looking for resolution of this problem.
Playback of the video seems to be reasonable, load speed of the disks are not very fast but reasonable for the price of the unit. WiFi connection to my home network was relatively easy but will not support the higher data rates it is capable of.

I research a lot for this product. I find this blu-ray in a great price and I never think twice to purchase not only for the quality of the company but performance I love it... High recommend.. and beside is Samsung..what else

A great little media player. Beautiful, sleek design, excellent functionality. I use this more for netflix and to play media off a flash drive than I do for blurays but performance is top notch in every application, highly recommended.
