I just recently bought this product with a bundle package and i was truly amazed with the features and clearity and use of the apps and how easy it was to use. I would recomend this product to every body only if they had the cash to shell out for this product that was the only down side to it.
I have had virtually no issues with this unit. It's fast, connects to the internet flawlessly, and is easy to use and update.
Overall, I would recommend this unit to anyone. As a matter of fact, I already did. My mother bought the predecessor to this unit (BD-C6800) on my recommendation of this unit. She only bought the older unit because of the lower price; however, is almost identical in looks and functionality to the BD-C6900. She loves her Samsung BD player.
Pros: reliable network connectivity, user friendly, starts up and opens fast
Cons: difficult/unable to access a network drive, difficult/unable to access another media player, button location - easy to turn on accidentally

Bought this because my my other one was only HD... I've researched consumer ratings, as well as product reviews from diverse sites. Anyway, the picture is incredible. I couldn't believe how much better it is than HD...WOW!!! The sound is awesome!!! And all the possibilities...am getting ready to kiss cable good-bye and use the internet-tv! I am sooo pleased, the difference is like going from rabbitt-ears to digital HD, from black&white to digitally enhanced color, from being hard of hearing to perfect hearing, and from fuzzy vision to 20/20.... There are so many applications pre-loaded I can't wait to try them out...I might actually start to watch more tv, instead of reading a book...lol It's was a bit pricey (for me anyway), but so worth it!!! This is one case where "you get what you pay for" is true!!! If you're looking to buy a good quality Blue-Ray player with lots of options....look no further, this is the one!!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, futuristic sleek design not bulky, quiet operation, tons of possibilities/applications, great sound, amazing picture, will fit small space, matches any decor
Cons: not cheap but worth the money!
I would recommend this to a friend!

My fault for not taking this player back

From day one this has been one of the slowest DVD/Blueray players I have ever used. I think my unit has a serious problem which I have not addressed. Wifi playback of Netflix, Pandora, and others is intolerable and unusable. Constant rebuffering and poor playback quality. Slow response too every command. Acts like it's using an old 8-bit micro to run everything. I purchase it back in Dec 2010 and didn't return it and now I'm stuck with it. It's in our bedroom and it's so frustrating to use that I've started hooking up my notebook computer to playback DVDs and watch Netflix. I have another TV/Blueray system in another part of the house working on 5GHZ wifi and it works great. Quick and seamless.
