THE ONLY GOOD THING I CAN SAY IS WATER PROOF AND DURABLE.
THE VOLUME IS AWFUL AND TOUCH SCREEN IS SO SENSITIVE THAT IT CALLS PEOPLE ACCIDENTALLY ALL THE TIME.

Smaller Size

Not as good as my previous phone the LG Optimus Pro G but I wanted something smaller in size and durable. It is still a good smartphone. The phone is over-priced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Short lived Phone

Purchased phone 7 months ago. I loved it initially. It randomly deletes contacts, shuts off randomly, has all sorts of apps that run the battery down and I cannot stop them, the emergency button is so sensitive it calls 911 while in your pocket, etc...

"Rugged" is an understatement, lots of proof here

I have had this phone for almost a year and I love this phone, it is indestructible as far as I m concerned, I have used it in the rain, always use it to play music in the shower, fell into a river twice with it, dropped it many times and once out of a moving truck window doing a bout 25, stepped on it after unknowingly having it slide out of my pocket while working multiple times, and after all this my screen is without cracks and the phone has acquired one small ding in the bottom left-hand corner (from the truck drop). So it's definitely water and shock PROOF and built with what must be high grade materials, now, the phone is thicker than most, but when you put an otter box on your phone it's thicker, overheats more, and is still breakable (especially if you stand on the screen), so to me it's still a win. The one thing on this phone that I can honestly tell has aged is the battery, I have to charge it once a day now instead of once every three days, and if you play games or have too many apps up while charging the phone will get hot and shut itself down to prevent failure, now, this is not something you should do anyways (discharge and charge a battery at the same time) so I'm willing to bet I am the reason my battery life is decreasing. I have yet to find anything that can bog the phone down and running it in developer mode i have discovered this thing can recognize all ten of your fingers at once, more than perfect for games requiring more than one finger. I have owned this phone for some time and am convinced this is the best phone I've ever had.

Don't buy

This phone is terrible. I've had to warrantee three of these in less than a year. My current one is on the way out as well. The software and the hardware do not seem to work together well. The thing I hate the most is that the file manager on this phone keeps advertising the "pro" version upgrade of itself and if you don't it puts ads in amongst your photos. The keyboard also does it's own thing, every time I press the comma it puts in zero and space bar puts in VB.
Stay away from this phone.

Great phone in all circumstances

I bought this phone almost two years ago. In the meantime my DuraForce had a tough life. I clean it in the sink with dishwasher detergent. My kid took picture with it underwater in Lake Michigan. I don't remember how many time I dropped in on concrete from 6 feet. No problem, it just worked... Induction charging is a plus for me, I use a Powermat for the job. The pictures are quite good, especially in good light, although I normally use a DSLR for taking pictures. Last by not least, one can hear it ring no matter how strong the background noise (it's on par with a fire alarm if you set it right). Internet access, GPS, bluetooth, etc. , all work fine.
