Not waterproof like they claim. Fail into water for about five minutes and it was in only about two feet of water. It fried my phone. Was great phone till that happened.

Bought this phone a year ago and I wish I hadn't wasted the money. The phone part isn't too bad except it has a tendency not to ring when I get a call; simply rings to let me know I have a voicemail. Messaging is ok except when the predictive writing jumps ahead and puts in nonsense... I turn it off and a day or two later it kicks back in. The camera is a joke, really wonderful if you want to take out of focus, blurry photos. The movie camera isn't bad. Don't try low light photos. You'll go blind while the camera tries to figure out what to focus on... Battery isn't bad. As for it being a "tough" phone (main reason I bought it) it's ok. Screen cracked after 8 months. My Samsung Rugby II was tougher, finally killed it and bought a Samsung Rugby 4 that died everytime I flew into Seattle. That's why I decided to upgrade. Bought this on the recommendation of the tech staff at the Seattle downtown store.I would not recommend this product to anyone, especially anyone I cared about.

I bought this phone several months ago as I drown one samsung in the toliet and another dropped on the edge and display went black.... It seemed like a good idea as it was water proof and drop proof.... NOTE: so far I have not put it to test #1- it cycles off ... randomly #2- Now it gets so hot I had to download an app to cool it down.... Yea...true story #3- the battery life depends on the above .... it can deplete its charge quickly.... #4- has a predictive text that is persistent... unable to disable this function.
totally dislike this phone.... if I ever get it paid off... I may just buy a cheap flip phone... way tired of this expense

Rugged design but slow and buggy

I bought this phone last week and I am returning asap. I replaced an S5 active with a junk low budget sumsung model then an iPhone 5. I discovered that I am not an Apple person and I enjoy the familiarity of my Android OS. So I decided to try this phone. It has horrible battery life, as I have a Sony Smartwatch 3 and use my wifi. However, the above didn't effect my s5 active. The processor was slow. I noticed lag even though I've adjusted developer settings hoping to increase this phone's performance. I was very unsatisfied with this phone.
