Problems

I was super happy with this phone at first. I love that it is super durable! However, over the last like three months it has been rebooting quite often! I will be in the middle of something and it will just reboot for no reason. It is really annoying. The screen freezes and it will shut down apps all the time. It needs some work, but has potential to be a really good phone

Exactly what I Needed

In my search for a new phone I needed one that was durable. Most construction style phones were big and bulky and none had smartphone features like touch screen. This phone exceeded my expectations. Good Size. Not too small. Pros- Speaker works better than any phone I have experienced. Durability incredible and my occupation is construction/spackle. Battery drain is fair considering using apps like Navigation.
Cons-outer keys alittle sensitive. If its in you pocket its sensitive. Low memory(not concern of mine because don't use for gaming or videos). Took alittle used to in setting up settings and turning things off that I didn't want. Hard to figure out where to go in settings. Used to have iphone4S. Overall felt I made a good purchase and fair cost.

Had about a month. Already locked up on me once. Stupid button on top that switches it to speakerphone keeps getting bumped when phone is in my pocket. Cuts off my Bluetooth mid conversation. Screen is overly sensitive.

External buttons ?

I have owned the phone for about a year, now. Works OK. It is as they say water resistant, but the screen is not that scratch proof . Even though I treat it like a "normal" phone, I do have some light scratches probably from my car keys. I think the V version has a better screen !? If you use the built in speaker, it will sound muffled and barely audible if the phone was in water. But I do use mine sometimes to listen music while I'm in the shower :-) . The most annoying feature for me are the power on button that is on top right. I don't have a password to open the phone and a lot of times it powers on when I put in in my pocket or back pack and does things on its own. I even found it setting the alarm clock on its own! The other button is the "push to talk" on the left side (whoever needs that anyway?), again when pushed accidentally it asks if I want to assign the button, every time! And all the side buttons are bulky. Battery lasts a couple days. Even with Bluetooth activated. More if Bluetooth is inactive. Phone is on the heavy side, but I like that. Dropped it a couple times accidentally. No issues. I would love it more, again if the side buttons were not there. Way too many APPS that I don't need and can't be removed.
