For years I have been dragging out "the beast" shampooer to clean everything. Getting older (and wiser) I decided to treat myself and buy myself this shampooer for Christmas. I am so glad I did. I just did carpeted stairs that haven't been done in five years. Beige carpet, path worn down. Well, let me tell you, the path is gone and the beige is back. This little guy sits right on the stair above you, so no "beast" falling down the stairs or hoses running up the stair to trip on. I sit on the step below the one I am washing and I am good to go. Can't wait to do the dining room chairs Yes, I am a cleanaholic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this cleaner to clean a 4' x 6' area rug with fringe. It came out better than the rug cleaning service I used. I pre-treated old stains the service didn't get out with laundry stain remover I had on hand. This cleaner does what it says it will do. It has great suction and the heated water feature really helped getting deep dirt out. Just the right size too since I don't have a lot of storage room. Thank you, Bissell.

I am taking care of son's dog while he can't. His dog like to potty on floor. PRO Heat has been great. I can"t believe how much dirt comes out. It is easy to store,and light weight,too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one so I knew what I was buying. This machine works extremely well and the water heater is a big plus in getting things clean. The Achilles' heel for this machine is the water connection to the heads. There is a nipple with o-rings that slip into the cleaning/bush heads. This nipple is not robust enough and will break over time while changing and/or removing the head for cleaning. When it breaks the part is not available by itself, you must buy a complete new hose assembly. So treat this carefully to keep from breaking it. The cost of the replacement hose is not that bad but add shipping and it begins to be a show stopper. Would be a 5 star machine if the water to nozzle connection were better designed and a bit more robust.

didn't last very long, leaks everywhere

Machine worked great to about the first six months. Followed the cleaning instructions regularly after each use. Then one day it just starts leaking out the bottom. Doesn't work right so now I can't use it.
