I do have a full sized cleaner but I found this to be very light-weight and easy to handle. It has done a very good job spot cleaning carpet as well as upholstery. The spray spot cleaners that I had been using weren't doing the job.

water pours out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using the machine & needed to refill the water. The minute I turned on the machine all the clean water drained out onto the carpet. I thought perhaps I did not tighten it enough & blamed it on me. I went to use it again today and sure enough, once I turn it on water pours out the bottom. It only pours out once the machine is on, not while in the off position which leads me to believe there is an internal leak.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a pet and a friend recommended this unit. Recieved it very timely. The instructions are confusing and certainly could be simplified. Getting the machine working initially- getting the water flowing, seemed to take forever. That was confusing too. I did not think it sprayed enough water, though I am sure we don;t want to saturate an area. I did not like that the fill line could not be fuller. The HEATING device does practically NOTHING. NOT WORTH THE EXTRA $$ AT ALL. Don't buy the heated. It's a gimmick. However that being said...the cleaner did fairly well. I would not say it was the best or even give it a very good rating. I found it frustrating. The Bissell cleaning chemical seemed to work well.

Leaks at the trigger assembly.

After 18 months the handle assembly started leaking .I found a plastic part that connects the trigger valve to the spray nozzle had broke. The fix is to buy a hose assembly for about 35.00. I only used the machine 3 times in the 18 months. My final comment is the machine works great for a short period of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am over 60, used many machines in the past and this one exceeds the others in ease if use, keeping water warm and extracting the Bissell cleansing solution from my microfiber couch and a wool area rug. Cleaned both very well. Unit has sufficient power to extract most if the water. (Difficult to get water out if seams and sharply curved areas), but this would be the case with any brand of steamer. Love that you can rinse out the entire machine, hose included and air dry it so it will not get moldy or accumulate grime and fibers inside. I would buy again. Good size, stores easily. Hose length sufficient; longer would probably not extract water as efficiently. Cord length great. Nice machine for smaller jobs

I have used Little Green for a LONG TIME, and it can do much more than just spot cleaning here and there. I have shampooed whole carpets with it!! Sure it does take a while but if you haven't had the room for a big carpet cleaner, this little baby is up for the job!! My current Little Green has shampooed my great grandmother's house, and my house many many times over the years. The suction is on point and the formulas leave the carpets smelling clean and fresh. Very reliable machine I have to add!! After all the rooms I have cleaned with it, and frequent use over 20 years it still works like a champ and runs like it's new! Bissell did an amazing job with the Little Green line and I stand by this amazing product. Quality was definitely in mind when mine was built. I am excited to get my big green here soon so I can cut cleaning time in half, and use the little green on spot areas.

I purchased this cleaner not just because it was compact and easy to store, but because of the words "Pro Heat", thinking that it would be able to maintain the water temperature longer than 10 minutes into my cleaning job. I called Customer Service to make sure I was using it properly, and she said the water does cool off between the heated tank of very hot tap water I was using, and when it comes out the brush nozzle cleaning attachment. After about 10 minutes of cleaning, the water is definitely not as hot as what I put in the tank that is supposedly being heated. I feel that the ability to clean the rug is reduced if the water is just warm, versus hot. The red light is on that indicates heater is supposed to be doing its job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
