Unfortunately the TV doesn't pick up many interesting channels

I guess my expectations outran my judgement. The TV does what it promises to do, but that promise is limited. Even with an add-on antenna the TV did not bring in many interesting channels. I was, however, impressed with the quality of the picture of those channels that were accessible.

Great picture

I do love it's convenience. The picture is great. the sound very good for it's size. Color is great as well. Sometimes it's hard to find stations. Wish the antenea was stronger. otherwise great product for the price and much appreciated after the loss of analog hand held tv audio stations, love listening when i garden.

Not suitable for my needs.

I bought this item to use in the kitchen. It sits on a shelf made for TV's and it rather high The remote (and I have tried two) does not work . It does not turn the TV on or Off, it does not change stations or volume. It is useless. I have to climb on as stool to turn on and off and I do not dare change stations.. Very unhappy with this item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It needs both a uhf and vhf antenna. I could not pick up local NBC.

If it had a better antenna...wow it would be great. No NBC reception here in wmass. bummer. It needed a better antenna design. all in one uhf/vhf fm in one jack. wouldn't cost much more for that feature. And I called for a antenna Philips recommends. He said its discontinued. No offer of a suitable after marked brand. So if you buy another one, you still need the supplied one for fm, which isn't that great either. Designed right and it's perfect for the kitchen counter.
Pros: portability ease of use
Cons: no nbc at all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this product. It has came in handy. I take it with me when I go fishing. I can fish and watch the football game. I even watch it in the store while my wife was shopping.
Pros: great for outdoor activities. while fishing., no problem picking up local channels
Cons: finding something metal to stick the antenna, needs a bigger screen
