Great portable TV for the money

I have used this TV for approx. 2 years now at work. Depending on where I am located in the building will determine whether I can use the included antenna on something better. I am currently using it with a Mohu Leaf Ultimate being in a poor reception area - the Leaf makes reception possible where the included antenna was not enough. With either the included antenna or the Mohu Leaf, the picture is excellent and number of channels is up to 22 for the Nashville, TN area. Haven't used the radio much, but it has decent reception. Sound quality is good - remember, it is a portable, not a home theater system.
Pros: picture quality, features - cc

Handy product, good TV picture, CC, sound, FM. Aerial not so sturdy.

I bought a refurb earlier model 2 or 3 yrs ago. I live 22mi from the Phoenix mountain-top TV transmitters, and my reception is very good with minimal tweaking. I can watch from my parked car, and I've even picked up a Tucson PBS station 100 mi away from my southward-facing 2nd-story porch!
CON: The original telescoping aerial snapped off and I've had no success fixing it, so I use another mfr's cheap 6" aerial for TV (not as good as orig., but it works). Unfortunately for FM radio I have to use the broken aerial because of the mini-jack. I'd love to upgrade to a telescoping aerial that includes the FM mini-plug. Any suggestions?

Pros: portability light weight, cc (captioning) useful options, picture color & contrast very true, clear stereo headphone sound, signal strength metering is helpful, good reception sensitivity, ability to rename channel display, telescoping aerial magnetic base
Cons: you should offer instructions to fix fm aerial

Faulty power connection

I have never been able to charge the battery inside. The power connection seems to have some sort of internal short. I bought another brand new cord and have the same issue. Not just charging the battery but turning the tv on. I have to position the cord so the power will go on. Very frustrating. I may have to buy another brand after this. There is nothing wrong with the power supply in my home. It's like there is a short internally. Will cost more to get it fixed than to purchase a new one I guess. I wouldn't by another one of these which sucks because when it does work it is great picture. If it would work!

Cons: bad power connection

great picture quality

This TV is small enough to sit on my kitchen table so I can enjoy some programs while I eat. It also worked well while I was in an interior room because of a tornado watch. Love it!

Very Good Portable TV

I have this TV in my bathroom and use it everyday. The picture is outstanding for such a small TV. We have used it during storms when the satellite was out. I only wish it had a stronger antenna and more functional remote.
Pros: great hd picture
Cons: could use a stronger antenna & a better remote

If you live in a large metropolitan area with numerous over-the-air broadcasting stations this television performs very well. I bought this unit to watch while tailgating at the Tampa Bay Bucs games. It worked flawlessly.
I would not recommend if your nearest over-the-air station is 30 or miles away - I don not believe it will perform satisfactorily.
Pros: great picture quality, battery lasted over two hours with sound maximized, easy to setup
Cons: coverage area should be 30 mile radius or less

This would be a perfect tag-a-long t.v. if the remote would control the volume and turned the t.v. on and off. It also could use a better antenna, other than these short falls this t.v. has a very good picture and sound. It's compact and easy to carry along on outings and use for power outages or as a back-up t.v..
Pros: very good picture and sound.
Cons: remote can't control volume or power.
