The tone option is perfect, as well as bold Brew setting. I am very pleased with my Cuisinart.

Really like the quality of this machine. The only issue is that it takes quite a while to make a pot of coffee.

I bought this coffeemaker ten months ago, and I am relatively happy with it. It's effortless! There's no doubt! But I'm afraid those who consider themselves coffee addicts will find the coffee weak, watery, or too light. Even if I push the "bold" button, I hardly notice a difference. I, personally, only dring watery coffee, so this coffeemaker is just my number! On the other hand, my husband always complains... Besides that, I would add that I always spill water when I'm pouring it into the coffeemaker. My guess is the pincher is too bulky making it hard to incline to turn the last drop into the water tank.

Very happy overall with coffee maker. After 4 Keurig's we purchased the Cuisinart and are well pleased.
Only fault ids the mounting of the coffee filter receiver is a little tricky and can operate when not seated correctly. makes for quite a mess 1111

I'm so happy I chose this coffee pot! It quietly brews up to 14 cups which is needed in our house where EVERYONE loves their coffee. The ease of setting it up is appreciated. My favorite feature is the brew timer; set the time you want your coffee ready, push the button before you go to bed and wake to your hot coffee ready when you open your eyes!!!

My new Cuisinart coffee maker is the best. I program it at night to turn on at 6:30am and I wake to delicious smelling and tasting coffee. Go for the Gold!!
