The "Bold" setting is always nice—allowing the water to percolate through the shower head slower for a stronger cup—especially when the coffee filter is 3/4 full to allow for a full 12-14 cup pot (prevents the water from overflowing over the filter, down into the pot).
Only 4 stars since there is no option to turn off the bright blue key backlights that light up the entire kitchen at night.
Either allow for the lights to be turned off or use a lesser LED strength.

this is my second coffee maker and I love it. It’s the same model style. The reason why I got a new one is cause the last one I had over 10 years. It was time to get a new one.

Like the look of the stainless and the LED display. Also like the 14 cup capacity, which is great when having guests. The programmable auto-on is a great feature to have coffee ready when you get up in the morning! This is the 3rd Cuisinart coffee maker we’ve had over the course of several years. Other brands don’t last as long with the terribly hard water that we have. The automatic notification to clean the unit is very helpful to make them last longer, too.

The 14 cup coffee maker absolutely brews wonderful coffee everyday. Sometimes I do the Bold and others the regular brew depending on the weather and activities for the day.

This coffee maker replaced a similar Cuisinart model that worked great for over 15 years.

My previous cuisinart coffee maker lasted 19 years. This new 14 cup is so great! I can see the water level and the coffee is brewed stronger and hotter. I simply love it. In fact, I only buy Cuisinart products!
