We usually buy and love the Cuisinart brand. It's our go-to when purchasing a new appliance. This coffee maker works fine, but I'd like it to be a little more heavy duty. The selection buttons seem somewhat cheaply made. This reminds me of previous coffee makers and I'd like a more premium appliance even if I had to pay more.

We love how well the pot is made and the extra features such as pot heat, the ability to program the amount of time to keep the plate on, and to adjust the strength of the brew. Hope they last a long time!
