A very classy looking coffee maker and some great features. I like the varied heat pad choices low to high and that it keeps coffee hot for 4 hours. This is programmable but I do not like keeping things plugged in due to electric outages so its fine without the clock running 24/7. The 14 cup carafe is heavy and has a very good grip handle. It comes with a water filter which I haven't used yet,.and a reusable coffee filter or can use paper filters. Some nice options.It comes also with a bold or regular brew option as well. Coffee is delicious! I use DD brand.

Everything works great and makes excellent coffee. The only negative observation is that It’s impossible to pour the entire carafe of water into the water storage container as the coffee maker lid gets in the way, but I just put more water in the coffee pot than I need and stop pouring when I get near the bottom of the carafe and pour out the rest of the water.

Great coffee maker! The coffee stays hot and it makes a great strong cup of coffee with minimal coffee grinds. Our last pot wasted a lot of coffee and it still wasn’t strong. Cuisinart provides a small scoop and it really works with just one scoop per cup.

Good coffeemaker - still learning its little nuances and quirks. Seems like the design and UI is well thought out. My only real issue is that the alert beeps sometimes don't seem to come on to tell me the coffee brewing is complete.

Two odd things about this product I wish I had noticed before purchase:
1- the lid on the carafe is cheap plastic and comes all the way off instead of just hinging. I can’t imagine that the lid will last very long. I think eventually the plastic will wear out and not clip into place the way it’s supposed to.
2- the top of the machine opens up to 90 degrees with a hinge at the back. I didn’t realize when I purchased this just how difficult that would make pouring in the measured water. You either have to pour it from high above the machine and hope you don’t make a mess, or slightly over fill the carafe knowing that you won’t be able to get all the water into the reservoir.

Kind of seems to me like this coffee maker was designed by people who never actually make coffee.

I like most of the features of this coffee maker. The only problem I have with it is the location of the water reservoir. Why did you design this coffee maker with the water reservoir in the back corner. It is hard to reach. I’m slowly learning how to add water without half oh it going into the coffee pot. Please don’t let my complaint keep you from buying this product. It is a good product.
