It makes annoying clicking noises all the time it is on. Expected some noise while brewing, but not just because it is on. This purchase was made to replace a much older model. It did not do this. Also was able to turn on the lower hot plate as needed with the old one. New model does not have this feature. It must run through an entire brew cycle for the lower hot plate to heat. The older model was better.

The coffeemaker makes great coffee but there are times when you put in say 10 cups of water the finished amount that is in the coffee pot is like 8.5 cups of coffee.

I have had this coffee maker for a month now, and I am satisfied with it. Plenty of features, but nothing over the top. It is easy to use and navigate through the features it does have. I have never had a programmable coffee maker but it comes in handy, especially when you have a busy morning.
