Happy with this coffeemaker. Have been using Mr Coffes for 40 years but last ones didn't last long. Hope this one does. Like that the filling lid opens to back. Pot is easy to replace and remove. Would prefer a hinged lid on the pot although we are getting used to this easy to remove one. It's chimes are louder than necessary and it is quite noisy when perking. Perks quickly though and that's important to me. Display is good too, easy to read and easy to use.

Absolutely love the coffeemaker. It is, however, somewhat tricky to place the carafe back onto the hot plate without making it sound as though it’s banging on the plate. You have to angle it gently to put back after getting coffee without making it bang on the hot plate. Otherwise, we love it.

This undoubtedly the worst coffee maker I've owned. The clock doesn't keep time, in fact I set it for say 12 o'clock and in a few hours it has increased the time by several minutes and over time it gets faster and faster as much as 30 minutes. The clean light comes on the day after cleaning and comes on about every other day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
