we like the coffee maker, unfortunately the electronic clock and timer is the part that has caused us to purchase two new coffee makers. Clock would no longer keep time so we could not use the auto on feature. I would suggest a more robust timer be added to the design. If the timer fails on this one I will probably not purchase another cuisonart coffee maker
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent coffeemaker, easy to use, all the options needed to make great tasting coffee! Can control the temperature, select if want 1-4 cups or more, how strong you want the brew and auto shut off after 2 hours. I like this coffeemaker!

Great coffeemaker but, the time does not stay accurate for more than a day or two.
