There are few alternatives for large capacity drip coffee makers. I have been extremely disappointed in the longevity of Cuisinart coffeemakers. My most recent 14-cup model lasted only a few years. It is such a waste that these are made so poorly that they end up in a landfill so often! But, when they work, they make a good cup of coffee and in quantity that is helpful when my whole family is home.

If you want a consistently hot and tasty cup of coffee, then use the Cuisinart coffee maker. Easy to use and the carafe stays hot. This coffe e maker replaced a different brand coffee maker. I used the same coffee and brewing methods, but the change in taste was markedly better with the Cuisinart coffee maker.

The coffeemaker is attractive and brews very hot coffee, which is an important feature to us. Coffee stays hot on the warming pad for a long time and then turns off automatically. The one feature I am not happy with is that the water reservoir is difficult to fill. The opening is narrow and it can be difficult to fill it without water running over. Also, it can be a bit difficult to fill it while watching the water level marks on the side.

Have a 12cup, the 3rd in 27 months, getting new one sent. Bottom is rushing out and want keep coffee warm. They say 3 yr warranty starts ffom original purchase. If new one want last, you better look at your manufacturing standards.
