Overall, I am very pleased with the coffee maker. The tone signal that is suppose to sound when the coffee is ready doesn't work. I would rather the filter was a basket shape instead of a "V" as the plastic frame makes washing coffee grounds out when cleaning more effort. But, I'd buy it again.

This is my 3rd Cuisinart coffee maker. I tried another brand but I returned that and came back to Cuisinart. Thinly complaint I have is that the heating plate rusts within a year of use. This happened with my previous 2 coffee makers. It doesn’t affect the function
