I had another brand similar price before, had 3 of them, each lasted less than 6 months. Read the reviews on the Cuisinart, hoping for much longer life of the item. Very happy with it so far, brews good coffee, user friendly.....

This coffeemaker is as good as we expected. Some reviewers indicated problems with the unit that we have not experienced. The programming works very well. There are options for heating temperature and auto shutoff duration that are good to have. The unit also has a setting for making smaller amounts of cofffee that are a good addition. Reheating coffee is also pretty quick to our surprise. Overall, the unit is great and is a great addition at a reasonable price.

The Cuisinart 14 cup programmable coffeemaker really makes a good pot of coffee. Love the "bold" button, which we always use and not having to use paper filters. Easy to set up, easy to clean. My recommendation, though, is to use a good quality coffee for best results.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is this is my 3rd coffee maker of this model. The 1st one lasted well over 10 years. The 2nd one lasted just barely 3 years (the heating element stopped working). I'm hoping that was not due to reduced manufacturing quality and this new unit will last longer being it's still the best of it's type.

When will you make these so that they stop leaking from the bottom. This is our third Cuisinart and both prior coffee makers started leaking after only 2 or 3 years.

Location of water level should be on both sides of the coffeemaker. If not on both sides, then it should be on the front. Water reservoir is hard to pour into.

It’s a good coffee pot. Only thing I’d change is the cover on the carafe is plastic and not attached to carafe. Prefer it to be hinged to pot
