Automatic timer function is great. It also brews exactly the amount you want. If you put in 12 cups of water you get 12 cups of coffee. It also handles coffee that has a very fine grind without overflowing in the brew filter. Excellent product.

the problem is the small finger that holds the filter basket down does not engage the lip above the carafe to hold the basket down hard enough and sometimes will not allow the coffee out of the basket,i'm afraid to try to bend the finger further for fear of snapping it off.the finger on our old 10 cup is bent out further and works fine but it is a different model

This was a replacement for another Cusinart coffee machine. It has been just as good and easy to use as the other one. We are sold on Cusinart products.

We purchased this model thinking it would keep the coffee warm longer so we wouldn't have to buy the model with the thermal carafe, but it doesn't. We have to pour the coffee into a thermos to keep it warm for a few hours. Otherwise, it works well.

I was looking for a coffee maker that could make one cup of coffee and also multiple cups. This coffee maker does it all and as a bonus, it is very attractive as well as well made.

We’ve had several Keurig’s and multiple Ninja brands that broke, carafe’s leaked and coffee didn’t stay hot. This Cuisinart is one of the better coffeemakers we have purchased. The carafe pours very nicely and the coffee is smooth with no burnt taste, and stays hot for hours. I’m impressed and love this purchase as much as the rest of my Cusinart appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This replaced our old red 12-cup Cuisinart which we'd had for years, but was shorted out during a lightning storm. This new 14-cup is excellent. The controls have been improved over the previous model. Much easier to read the labels. Easy to set the brew timer and the clock. No complaints. Well, just one: we couldn't replace the red color, but the stainless steel is fine.
