It is a decent coffee maker. Sometimes if you don't place the mug correctly , coffee will not drip and get accumulated in the grounds bin, spilling the grounds and making a mess. However the coffee tastes good.

I have only used the coffemaker twice. The second time it created more steam than any coffee maker I have ever seen. Then the clean light came on after only two uses. I am returning the unit to the store I bought it from. I have had many cuisinart coffee makers and have never seen this issue before.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm very impressed with this coffeemaker. It's easy to use, but also has many features to customize the coffee experience. This is my second Cuisinart coffeemaker and I will continue to come back for my next one.
