We bought this less than a year ago, and the 3rd one just broke. They have replaced it each time, but it is absurd. We are switching to a different brand now. Very disappointed in what Cuisinart has become.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

took a few brews to make the perfect pot but once we did I have to say this makes an excellent cup of coffee quicker than any other coffemaker we have ever purchased

Great coffee maker, and it looks beautiful on my countertop. I happen to be on my second one now. Cuisinart does not disappoint!

Best automatic drip coffee maker we've ever owned

This is the THIRD version of this same coffee maker that we have owned over the last 20 years or so. We brew coffee almost every day and do very little maintenance on our coffee machines. We just replaced our last one, which we had had for maybe a decade, because the grounds had started to overflow during the brewing process (after 10 years of daily use). I probably could have sourced a new basket, but we felt it was time for a refresh. But when it came time to select a machine, I didn't even bother to shop around. This machine is dependable, easy to use, makes a great cup of coffee (we like the bold setting), and it can make 14 cups for when you have guests. Simple the best automatic drip machine we've ever owned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Cuisinart coffee maker. The first one lasted me 10 years, of making coffee every day. It was a no brainer for me to purchase another one. I love the Cuisinart Brand because of its reliability morning after morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!
