I love my Cuisinart coffee maker. 14 cup aluminum coffee machine.
This is my 4th one I have purchased.
Makes great coffee and looks good in your kitchen. Easy to use fast.

Very good product, directions are adequate. Only criticism is the lid on the carafe should be hinged like the Braun brands are

Nice new design. True 14 cups of coffee per full pot. The opening to pour the water in has been improved so it's much easier to do without spilling.

Two factors knocked my review down to 3 out of 5. First, the plastic ring around the top of the carafe collects what you're pouring (coffee when I'm pouring coffee and a combo of soapy water and coffee when I clean the carafe and leave it upside down in the drying rack. So I can't really get it clean. I end up with drips of coffee and soapy water in the carafe when I turn it right-side up. YUCK! Second, it loses the time and programming every time the power flickers (which it does frequently during thunderstorm season). A optional-to-use battery compartment to retain time and programming would be a cheap and easy fix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced our previous Cuisinart coffee maker agter 10 years. The new one is very similiar. Still makes a great cup of coffee, but brews it even faster.

Cuisinart sends to have set the standard for quality built coffee makers. We have owned several over the years that have lasted many years. The display is functional and very easy to use and there are models to match any decor. This model allows you to set the brew strength and the temperature as well as the standard programmable start times. We will stick to Cuisinart in the future.
