Can’t prep for making coffee without running condensate behind unit off the lid when open. Necessary to wipe up water ever time. Easy to program. Large capacity. Works very well.

Simple but does what it is supposed to do and does it well. It has everything that it needs to brew a great pot of coffee and has nothing that you don't need. The more bells and whistles that you have, the more things that can break or go wrong. This coffee maker has exactly what it needs for brewing great coffee.

This coffee maker is a replacement for one whose warming plate had failed. It was out of warrantly, but Cuisinart generously replaced it with the same model, just two plus years newer.
It makes fine coffee, is easy to use and clean, and looks good on the counter. It's as good as more expensive models we looked at. A good value even at the regular price/

While the features of this coffee maker are fine, the design and engineering are not. It is impossible to open the lid to make coffee without spilling water on the counter. Also, more often than not, when pouring coffee into a cup, coffee leaks out onto the side of the cup and the counter! Thought maybe this would change from previous models, but didn’t!
