The 3200 replaced a 1200 that we’ve had for years (still works perfectly). The 3200 simply enhances the features of the 1200, but it is essentially the same coffeemaker.

I occasionally drink decaffeinated coffee and wanted something nice for my new kitchen. I checked out the cuisinart since I trust their brand... and I am not disappointed. It is quiet and does its job. I am glad I got it on sale, since I am not a major coffee drinker. But for thw connoisseur of coffee, the value for thw money is fantastic. Highly recommend. The only drawback is that the cover on the carafe has to be removed when filling. But I don't think it will break.

Nice efficient coffeemaker. I like the option to select bold, temperature and chime for finishing. I like that it has a water filter for brewing so no residual mineral taste in the coffee.
