Very simple to set up and program. The gold filter is far more convenient than paper filters. Only thing to be careful of is making sure the raised portion of the pot's lid contacts the dispensing plunger directly so the coffee can flow freely into the pot. If it doesn't make good contact, then there is a mess in the filter area, as well as potentially in the water reservoir.

It's nice but lid on the carafe is hard to put on and take off. Plus the filter holder has some kind of long piece at the bottom of it that makes removing the filter holder tight and tricky to remove after brewing finished. (My previous Cuisinart Coffee maker did not have this.)

This Cuisinart coffee maker is great! The coffee is hot not lukewarm like some make it and easy to use. It is programmable. It makes up to 14 cups of coffee but has a setting for up to four cups if you just need a smaller pot sometimes.

Perfect coffee maker. The bold makes it taste so good. We tried a more expensive ninja coffee maker and it was bland ever pot we made. It was horrible. This brand been the best overall. We have bought this bean for the 3rd time because it doesn’t let us down.
