Works great and has logical buttons. I was able to program and get it set up within minutes and was pleased to know how easy it was to turn off the peeps when it is done brewing, although the beeps are not super loud so I left them on.

The coffeemaker operates as advertised. This coffeemaker is a replacement for a 12-cup Cuisinart coffeemaker that lasted well over 10 years, so we have hopes the 14-cup coffeemaker will live up to expectations. Two 'petty' cons: (1) owner manual could be improved re programming; (2) brewing cycle is LOUD, as in wake you from a deep sleep loud!

Pause-and-serve causing coffee grounds overflow

Something about the filter basket and lid doesn't seem to be aligning correctly. A small amount of the relatively moderate amount of ground coffee in a typical (Kroger) paper filter overflows the filter, ending up in the basket and carafe, apparently as a result of the lid's not pushing down on the filter basket "loop" hard enough to fully depress the "pause-and-pour" spring mechanism. I have had to resort to shoving a piece of dowel rod into the recess on the cover, as well as weighing the cover down, in order to get the mechanism to work properly.
In addition, since purchasing the unit less than a month ago, the "Clean" button has lit up twice...shouldn't this be every 90 days, or so?
