We bought this coffee maker to replace the exact same model of the 14 cup Cuisinart that was purchased 20 years ago, which finally wore out. Don't know if we will get 20 years out of this unit, but we'll try.

Replaced an aging 14 Cup Programmable for the new model. We love it! Seems to brew quicker than the previous model.
