Coffee maker is easy to setup and use. I have not used the programming or smaller brew (1-4 cups) features. I did, however, use the BOLD feature. Sadly, after 4 weeks the BOLD button no longer activates. The unit is still making coffee, so I will continue to use it. But it is very disappointing that the one feature I used no longer works after only 4 weeks of daily use.
Response from cuisinart.comBy Cuisinart, May 28, 2026
We’re glad to hear the coffeemaker has been easy to use, but we’re sorry the BOLD feature stopped functioning so soon. We recommend ensuring the unit is fully powered, the control panel is clean and dry, and unplugging the unit for a few minutes to reset it before trying the feature again. Please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference ticket #8900999639 so we can further assist and review your unit. Thank you for your feedback, as it helps us improve future models.

I really enjoy the Cuisinart coffee maker. I’ve had many different types, and this one is the best. The reason for only 4 stars is that this coffee maker is my 3rd one in 8 years. They are not durable. In fact, we’re in Hawaii now, and I had to call the management company because the exact model I have at home now, would not drip the coffee. I wish they were more reliable.

I’ve been wanting to make the switch from my coffee pod machine because auto drip tastes better. This machine does not disappoint.

This coffee maker is good. I like that it beeps when coffee is done & when the unit shuts off. I like that you can program it to turn off between 1-4 hours after brew finishes. I like that you can change the heat setting for the carafe. 4 stars is because adding water is a little awkward & the filter & filter holder are a little awkward to remove to fill with coffee & replace. Not a huge problem, just something I have to get used to after using another brand for 30+ years.

This is my fourth Cuisinart coffeemaker. My experience with the coffeemakers has been positive except for this most recent purchase. I find that the brewed coffee is not hot enough. I have to then microwave it.
This is not what I would expect from a new Cuisinart coffeemaker.

Thank you for your continued loyalty to Cuisinart and for sharing your feedback—we’re sorry to hear your most recent coffeemaker is not meeting your temperature expectations. For improved heat performance, we recommend preheating the carafe with hot water before brewing, ensuring the lid is properly secure. If the issue persists, our team would be happy to assist further and explore solutions with you. We’ve been longtime Cuisinart users of a number of different products and this is our 3rd coffee pot! The two previous ones both lasted a very long time. I’m certain this new one will too. Very easy to use (I like the BOLD button). Brews a very nice cup of coffee!

3 weeks ago we purchased the Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker after owning a Mr. Coffee for 25 years. We were reluctant to purchase a different product, but we are very happy we did. It makes a great cup of coffee, smooth and hot compared to our old coffee maker. You can make a 1-4 cup batch or the whole pot depending on your needs. Just add the amount of water necessary and the ground coffee and press the 1-4 cup button and brew button and within minutes you have a hot and great tasting cup to start your day. We agree with the great reviews this product has.
