I used these pellets to smoke some salmon. My wife said it was the best salmon she ever tasted! I will smoke some more this week! The alderwood was an excellent choice for the smoker!`

This is my go to wood for smoking salmon. Bar none, Bear Mountain are the best brand of pellets I have ever used. I constantly receive compliments about the salmon I have smoked. The other trick I have learned is to brine the salmon prior to smoking. The Alder pellets give the salmon a nice flavor without overpowering it. Definitely try some.

Tried these because they were out of Dry Creek Pellets. Clogged up the burn pot lots of soot. Definitely won’t buy again

Very disappointed this year

I have used Lignetics pellets for many years, and have been very happy with the results, until this year. The burn pot clogs after one day, and soot blackens the viewing glass and all interior surfaces. I am cleaning the stove every two days this year. In the past I cleaned the stove once a week.
